ShotThread Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of ShotThread Terms

By using ShotThread, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use ShotThread.

2. Description of ShotThread

ShotThread is a local-first screenshot story editor for iOS. It lets you import screenshots, arrange them into multi-page stories, apply themes and annotations, and export images or PDFs. Features and availability may change as we improve the app.

3. No account required

ShotThread does not require you to create an account. Your projects are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device and any ShotThread project exports you wish to keep.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the screenshots and content you import into ShotThread. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and share that content. Do not use ShotThread to create or distribute content that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

5. Acceptable use of ShotThread

You agree not to:

• Use ShotThread for any unlawful purpose
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code except where permitted by law
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell ShotThread or its components
• Use automated tools to interfere with the Service

6. ShotThread Pro and purchases

ShotThread offers a free tier and optional ShotThread Pro features through In-App Purchase on the App Store. All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.

ShotThread Pro is available as a one-time lifetime purchase. Pricing may vary by region and is displayed in the App Store before you buy. We may change Pro features or pricing for future purchases with reasonable notice where required.

7. Intellectual property

ShotThread, its logo, themes, and software are owned by CodeMXM or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ShotThread on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the App Store rules.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

ShotThread is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that ShotThread will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every use case. Export quality may depend on your source images and device capabilities.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeMXM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of ShotThread, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for ShotThread Pro in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using ShotThread at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or discontinue the Service where required by law or if you violate these Terms.

11. Changes to these ShotThread Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of ShotThread after changes constitutes acceptance.
